Ayama Yoga

Ayama Yoga Our vision is to provide a sacred space for healing and personal transformation. Our center offers A sacred space for healing and personal transformation.

A-yama is a Sanskrit word that means to expand, to extend, to manifest beyond restrains, to release, to liberate. All of our classes are hands-on, where mixed level practitioners of all ages find individualized attention, knowledgeable help and nurturing guidance. To complement the practice of Yoga, Ayama offers a wide selection of holistic healing arts, such as Qigong, Acupuncture, Reiki, Massage

therapies, Transformational Breathing, Holistic Nutrition, Hypnotherapy, and other treatments. We are dedicated to serving the community with alternative and integral ways of understanding and experiencing wellbeing and personal evolution. A specially designed space with dim light, candles, sacred music and superb acoustics make it easy to turn inwards and engage in the journey.

What does Ayama mean?

Āyāma speaks to stretching, extending, expanding, going beyond an existing limit.
You may already recognize the word within prāṇāyāma, where it is associated with the expansion or extension of prāṇa.
It’s also the idea behind our name: a practice can begin with the body, but it doesn’t have to end there. There is always another direction in which we can grow.
A wider way of being.

Come practice with us at Ayama Yoga & Healing Arts in North Miami Beach.

We’re growing our teaching community at Ayama 🌞
We’re currently looking for Aerial Yoga teachers for regular and substitute opportunities, and we’re also welcoming Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative + other yoga teachers interested in joining our sub roster.
For us, subbing is more than filling in a class—it’s a chance to get to know each other, introduce your teaching to our community, and grow into a regular spot as openings become available.
Compensation is based on training and experience, and we love supporting our teachers as they grow—with opportunities for classes and workshops, photos + content, promotion, and connections beyond the studio.
Interested in teaching with us? DM us with your bio, training, teaching experience + availability. 🌿

A little look inside today’s practice with Mano.

Strength, mobility, focus, play—and space for every student to explore the practice in their own way.

Some moments take us upside down. Others bring us all the way back to the ground. Both are part of the practice.

Real words from our community. Thank you, Kerry, for sharing such a thoughtful reflection on your experience at Ayama. 🤍
“The Soundbath class that I attended at Ayama was thoroughly relaxing and healing, both physically and mentally. The yogi was observant and interactive with us, providing gentle cues for improved positioning with the poses. She was extremely gentle and put me at ease. The soundbath awakened my senses and transcended my mind to a let go of tensions, bringing my body to an improved state. The scented oils were great aromatherapy to add. Back and shoulders became more relaxed and improved my mobility as I left the class.”
Experience Restorative Yoga + Soundbath with Adriana every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:45 PM.
