After becoming World Champion in her division, our athlete had the honor of receiving her brown belt promotion on the podium. Very few people get to experience something like this, and the fact that she earned it after such an incredible performance made this moment even more meaningful.

Having her train with us every day, watching her evolve, improve, and dedicate herself to the sport is something that makes us incredibly proud.

Congratulations on your new brown belt! You earned every bit of it. We are so happy to have you as part of the Rocha family. This is just another chapter in your journey, and we know there is so much more to come.

Some moments on the mats are impossible to forget.

Today, we celebrate our newest brown belt. We had the honor of promoting her on the podium, in front of the same community that has watched her work, grow, and dedicate herself to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

This was more than a belt promotion. It was a recognition of the journey, the discipline, and the commitment she has shown throughout her training.

Seeing her receive that brown belt was a proud moment for all of us. She earned it through hard work, consistency, and the way she continues to represent our academy.

Today, we celebrate a victory that represents so much more than a medal.

Our student Charmie Dawn became the 2026 Master World Champion in the Purple Belt, Super Heavyweight division, delivering an incredible performance on the biggest stage.

What makes us especially proud is seeing her put everything she worked on in the academy into action. Every detail, every adjustment, every repetition, and every hard day on the mats came together when it mattered most.

She didnā€™t just train to compete. She trained, believed in the process, and delivered.

Seeing our student standing on top of the podium is an incredible feeling and a reminder that hard work, dedication, and consistency make a difference.

All four of them put on an incredible performance and showed exactly how much they have been improving through their hard work and dedication in training. šŸ’Ŗ

Competition is where we test ourselves. Itā€™s where the hours of drilling, sparring, learning, and pushing each other finally come together.

Today, you didnā€™t just represent yourselves. You represented your teammates, your coaches, your families, and the entire Rocha Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu family.

Stepping onto the mat, sweating, making mistakes, improving, and training alongside your students speaks louder than any lesson ever could. It shows commitment, humility, discipline, and passion.

Students are inspired by coaches who live what they teach. True leadership means being present, embracing the challenges, celebrating the victories, and never stopping your own journey of growth.

At Rocha Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, we believe a coach should be the first to live the culture they want to build. Because actions will always speak louder than words.

Last night was a special one for Rocha Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

We had 8 new adult students step onto our mats for their very first class. Moments like these remind us that people trust our work, and we are truly grateful for that.

Our mission has always been simple: provide high-quality Jiu-Jitsu in a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment where everyoneā€”regardless of age or experienceā€”can learn, grow, and feel at home.
