Last day.

I've spent the month sharing what Be You is, why I created it, and who it's for.

So today I'm keeping this simple.

If you know there's more potential in you than you're currently using, I'd love for you to join me.

56 challenges.

4 areas: Integrity, Versatility, Resilience and Precision.

Self-paced.

Built to make you DO something, not just think about it.

I believe in this program and the work inside it.

Today it's $397. Tomorrow it's $597.

If you've been thinking about it, today's the day.

I've spent a lot of time this month telling you what the Be You Challenge is.

Today I want to tell you why I believe in it.

I didn't create 56 challenges because 56 sounded like a good number.

They came from years of teaching, coaching, studying psychology—and living a life where I've had to challenge myself to change direction more than once.

I've taught teenagers who were capable of far more than they believed. I've coached adults who knew what they wanted to change but couldn't seem to move. And I earned my master's in psychology because I wanted to understand the science behind how we think, behave, change, and grow.

And I've lived it myself.

I've left careers. Started businesses. Gone back to school. Tried things I wasn't sure I could do. Failed at some things. Gotten too comfortable. Changed my mind. And started again.

I'm 59, got a new haircut yesterday because apparently I'm prepping myself for 60 😂, and I'm STILL asking: What's next? What do I want to learn? Where have I gotten comfortable? What am I capable of?

Here's what I've learned:

Knowing something isn't the same as doing something.

You can read the books, listen to the podcasts, save the quotes—and never change a thing.

That's why Be You has 56 challenges, not just 56 lessons.

Learn something. Think about it. DO something with it.

Because I don't believe we're ever finished growing.

And potential doesn't do us much good if we're not willing to use it.

That's why I built Be You. And that's why I believe in it.

The Be You Challenge is $397 through tomorrow, September 30. Then it's back to $597.

“I don't have time.”

I get it.

Most women I know don't have hours of empty space sitting around waiting to be filled with personal growth.

And I certainly wasn't interested in creating something that would become one more obligation on an already-full list.

That's why I designed the Be You Challenge differently.

The lessons are short.

The tasks are specific.

And the entire program is self-paced.

But here's the important part:

Short doesn't mean insignificant.

One task might take you 15 minutes.

Another might give you something to think about for the next three days.

You might move quickly through one because you already know yourself well in that area—and spend much longer on another because it makes you stop and really think.

That's exactly how it's supposed to work.

There are 56 challenges built around Integrity, Versatility, Resilience and Precision.

You don't have to race through them.

You don't have to complete something every day.

And you definitely don't need to rearrange your entire life to do this.

You just need to be willing to give some of your time back to yourself.

Time to think.

Time to question.

Time to try something.

Time to recognize where you're strong—and where there's still room to grow.

Because personal growth doesn't have to become another full-time job.

But it probably does deserve a place on your calendar.

The Be You Challenge is $397 through September 30. After that, it returns to $597.

If “I don't have time” has been one of the reasons you've hesitated, maybe the better question is:

How much time am I willing to invest in myself?

Be You. Always.

Who is the Be You Challenge for?

I've thought about this question a lot.

And here's what I've realized:

I didn't create Be You for the woman whose life is falling apart.

I created it for the woman whose life is actually pretty good.

She's capable.
She's accomplished things.
She takes care of people.
She gets things done.
She's learned a lot about herself along the way.

But she also has this nagging sense that there is still more in her.

Not necessarily another degree.
A bigger job.
More money.
Or some dramatic reinvention of her life.

More potential.

Maybe she's gotten a little too comfortable.

Maybe she's stopped challenging herself.

Maybe there's something she's wanted to try but keeps putting off.

Maybe she's so busy doing what's expected of her that she hasn't stopped lately to ask what she wants next.

Or maybe she simply knows she's capable of growing and doesn't want to stop.

That's the woman I created Be You for.

The Be You Challenge gives you a structured way to take an honest look at yourself through 56 different challenges built around:

Integrity.
Versatility.
Resilience.
Precision.

Not because something is wrong with you.

Because you probably have a lot of what's right with you that you haven't fully used yet.

If you've been reading my posts this month and thinking, "She's talking about me"—

I probably am.

The Be You Challenge is $397 through September 30, and then returns to $597.

If you're ready to see what else you're capable of, I'd love to have you join me.

Be You. Always.

I took last week off.

Not exactly by choice. A colonoscopy in the middle of the week followed by a sinus infection pretty much made the decision for me. 😬

But it also reminded me of something I believe is important:

Sometimes being intentional means knowing when to stop.

I could have tried to keep up with posts, emails, and everything else I had planned. But I've learned that when my body is telling me it needs rest, I need to listen.

Especially because I'm a creator.

Writing, developing ideas, teaching, recording videos, and creating content require me to be mentally present. They take focus and energy. And when I don't have those things, forcing myself to produce something just so I can check it off the list doesn't serve me—or the people I'm creating it for.

So I rested.

And now I'm ready to start again.

There are 10 days left in September—Be You Month—and I want to make them count.

I've spent a lot of this month talking about what it means to Be You.

About potential.
About knowing yourself.
About continuing to grow.
About having the courage to make changes when something no longer fits.
About being intentional with the life you're actually living.

For these last 10 days, I want to talk more specifically about the Be You Challenge itself.

Why I created it.
What's actually inside it.
Who it's for.
And why I believe so strongly in the work.

Because I didn't create Be You for women who need to completely reinvent their lives.

I created it for women who know there is still more in them.

More to learn.
More to try.
More to contribute.
More potential they haven't used yet.

Last week, I needed rest.

This week, I'm ready to create again. Both can be part of being intentional about the life you're living.

We've got 10 days.

Let's use them. 💛

I’ve always been fascinated by potential.

Not talent. Not achievement. Potential.

That space between what we are currently doing and what we are actually capable of doing.

I saw it for 13 years as a teacher. I saw students who had absolutely no idea what they were capable of yet.

And I see it in adults all the time, too.

Somewhere along the way, it gets easier to stay with what we know. We get busy. We become responsible for a lot of people and a lot of things. We stop asking ourselves hard questions.

Am I still growing?

Am I using what I’m good at?

Is there something I keep thinking about doing—but haven't?

Am I challenging myself, or have I gotten a little too comfortable?

I don't think reaching your potential means you have to blow up your life, quit your job or chase some enormous goal.

Sometimes it simply means believing there is still more in you — and being willing to find out what it is.

That idea is a huge part of why I created the Be You Challenge.

Because I don't want women to get to the end of their lives and realize there was so much more in them that they never used.

So here's my question for you:

Where do you know you still have more in you?

09/09/2026

I've been thinking about my own Be You story.

And the truth is, I don't think I have just one.

I've learned that when I'm no longer being myself, I usually feel it before I can explain it.

I get uneasy. Sometimes I literally get a stomachache.

It happens when I realize I'm starting to concede too much of what matters to me in order to fit where I am.

I felt it when I left Hallmark to open a bookstore with three kids under six at home. I wanted more time with my children, needed a new challenge, and knew corporate life wasn't where I wanted to stay.

I felt it when I left teaching, too.

That one was harder.

Near the end of my teaching career, I sat through a meeting where parts of my personality were picked apart.

I was too honest.

I didn't show enough gratitude.

My classroom wasn't fun enough.

And yes, if you know me, you can appreciate the irony of being told I wasn't grateful enough. 😊

But that meeting made me realize something.

I was being asked to fit into a version of myself that left little room for the way I naturally think, challenge ideas and create.

Ideation is my #1 strength — and I wasn't using it.

Eventually, I left.

It was one of the hardest periods of my professional life, but leaving gave me room to ask different questions.

What makes us who we are?

Why do we give pieces of ourselves away to fit someone else's expectations?

And how do we find our way back?

Those questions eventually led me to a master's degree in psychology — and ultimately to creating the Be You Challenge.

So maybe my Be You story isn't about leaving Hallmark, opening a bookstore or leaving teaching.

Maybe it's this:

I've learned to pay attention when I start disappearing from my own life.

Sometimes being you requires having the courage to change direction.

Be You. Always.

I use those three words a lot.

And apparently sometimes “being me” means happily standing in front of a giant Santa with shopping bags in both hands. 😂 I do love to shop.

But that's actually part of what Be You. Always. means to me.

It's knowing yourself. The serious parts and the silly parts. Your strengths, your values, your gifts, your quirks, the things you still need to work on—and the things that simply bring you joy.

Always is the harder part.

Because life has a way of pulling us away from ourselves...

We become the employee, the wife, the mom, the daughter, the caregiver, the volunteer, the friend. We adjust to what other people need. We get busy. We go through hard seasons. We change.

And sometimes, without even realizing it, we lose touch with parts of ourselves along the way.

I don't believe Be You. Always. means we never change.

Quite the opposite.

I hope I'm still learning, changing and growing for the rest of my life.

It means that through all of those changes, I want to keep coming back to the person God created me to be—and have the courage to keep becoming more of her.

That's what Be You. Always. means to me. 💜

And maybe today is a good day to ask yourself:

What part of YOU do you never want to lose?

Why did I create the Be You Challenge?

Because I've spent a lot of my life fascinated by potential.

As an engineer, I learned to look at problems differently and find better solutions.

As a teacher, I watched students discover abilities they didn't know they had.

As a leadership advisor, I saw what happened when someone was challenged to step up, take responsibility and follow through.

And as a coach, I've watched women recognize that somewhere along the way, they stopped expecting as much from themselves as they once did.

Different careers. Different people. Different stages of my life.

But one idea kept showing up:

We are capable of more than we sometimes ask of ourselves.

That's why I created the Be You Challenge.

Not to tell women who they should be.

Not to give them another list of things they're doing wrong.

And definitely not to “fix” them.

I created it to give women a structured way to stop and ask:

Who am I now?
What matters to me?
What am I capable of?
Where am I holding myself back?
And what am I willing to do about it?

That's also why the Challenge begins with Integrity and moves through Versatility, Resilience and Precision.

There's an intentional path to it.

Because personal growth isn't just about learning something new.

It's about doing something with what you learn.

That's the Be You Challenge.

And that's why I created it. 💛

Be You. Always.

For September, the complete Be You Challenge is $397, normally $597.

September is Be You Month. 💛

And I have been waiting for this day.

For the past several weeks, I've been talking about growth. About getting off autopilot. About asking yourself better questions. About recognizing that you are not finished becoming the person you're capable of being.

Today, I'm inviting you to do something about it.

The Be You Challenge is a personal growth program I created for women who are ready to intentionally invest in themselves.

Not because something is wrong with you.

Because there is still more in you.

Over the course of the Challenge, you'll work through four modules:

INTEGRITY — Know who you are and what you stand for.

VERSATILITY — Stay curious, courageous, creative and willing to grow.

RESILIENCE — Build the mental, physical and emotional strength to keep going.

PRECISION — Become more intentional about how you live, what you expect from yourself and where you're going.

And through it all, I'm going to challenge you to do more than read or listen.

You're going to DO.

You'll reflect. You'll answer questions. You'll try things. You'll stretch yourself. And sometimes I'll ask you to Be Brave and do something that makes you a little uncomfortable.

Because that's where growth happens.

And for September, I'm making it easier to say yes.

The complete Be You Challenge is normally $597.

Throughout Be You Month, it's $397.

That's $200 off—not because the program is worth less, but because I want September to be the month you finally decide:

I'm worth investing in, too.

If you've been watching, reading, thinking “I probably need this…”

Maybe this is your time.

Choose yourself.
