EQUINE MARKETING SURVEY & DOVER UPDATE: Greenhawk Equestrian Sport has announced they will be moving into some of Dover's retail locations. We do not know yet which stores in Virginia will be included. Regardless, we are continuing with our market survey for several reasons:
1. Should Greenhawk come to our area, we would like them to know our market's specific needs;
2. Greenhawk's website indicates there are franchising opportunities which may be attractive to a local business entrepreneur; and
3. We still want to offer market insights to locals who may want to open their own store.

To Our Equine Community,
Since Dover announced it is closing, we have had many customers ask if Loose Horse Mobile Tack Exchange will open a retail store. Kim and I are pretty much retired old mares, and our business is a fun service we enjoy offering to the horsey community. We love the mobility and flexibility that comes with our business model. We would be interested, however in helping another entity create a brick-and-mortar retail tack shop in the Charlottesville area and perhaps partner with them in complimentary ways. To support this notion we are conducting a FEASIBILITY STUDY to determine the need and viability of a new tack store in the vicinity. Interested individuals or groups will have access to the results. In the next week we will be posting a MARKET SURVEY, which we hope you will complete and share with your equine friends. We look forward to your responses!
