📣 2026 Know Nonsense Trivia League Update – Week 36 Recap
Week 36 brought one major Top 10 shakeup, and it happened right behind the leader.
TRIVIA NEWTON JOHN stays #1 after another strong Fathoms run, finishing second in a weathered, wager-swing finish where HOOK LINE AND DRINKERS grabbed the win. TRIVIA NEWTON JOHN hit a perfect Round 2 and stayed in the race until the final swing.
The biggest leaderboard move belongs to DRINK BEER HERE, who climbs from #3 to #2, passing QUIZMASTER LEE’S DISCIPLES. Their Point Ybel week helped close the gap, including a third-place finish as MIKE’S PITCHING A TENT in a tight OG game won by TOO MUCH TUNA: A NEW BOAT.
QUIZMASTER LEE’S DISCIPLES settle at #3 but remain right in the podium fight, with only a small gap separating second and third.
The rest of the Top 10 holds steady. AT IT AGAIN remains #4, COMFORTABLY DUMB stays #5, and HONEY BADGERS holds #6 after staying active in the Fathoms chase.
FUTHER MUCKERS keep #7 after another Nauti podium, finishing just one point behind B&S on a night where the top three were separated by only six points. HOOK LINE AND DRINKERS hold #8 and earned the week’s biggest Fathoms spotlight, winning the Thursday night game after a perfect Round 2 and a smart final swing.
FUBAR stays #9 after another Nauti podium, while PICKLES + M&MS hold the #10 spot and added a Jungle Bird win to their week.
Around the league, ALCAYHOLICS won Downtown by half a point over THE DARK CLOUDS, IRISH 3 took Front Porch Social with help from two uncontested answers, and TOO MUCH TUNA: A NEW BOAT won a tight Point Ybel OG finish.
Week 36 did not shake every spot, but the podium race changed shape. DRINK BEER HERE is now up to #2, HOOK LINE AND DRINKERS picked up a major Fathoms win, and the teams in the middle of the Top 10 are still close enough to make every week matter.
