It started when co-inventor Tom Earl wanted to take his son wakeboarding behind his 1984 Ski Supreme, it did not produce the wake they needed to wakeboard. Tom, having knowledge of hydrodynamics, developed the first prototype, which turned his boat into a wakeboarding boat. and has spent his life working with the development of Stainless Steel and Aluminum marine products. Combining Tom’s ideas and Joes knowledge of metal fabrication and engineering of boats they formed a partnership that brought the SwitchBlade to life. Eleven years later they are now working on the 3rd generating of the SwitchBlade, continuing to take wake sports to the next level. The SwitchBlade is a wake enhancement system for both the beginners and pros. It is manufactured by Custom Stainless Steel in Benton, IL.
