Hey Griz Century Riders! For years they’d been telling us “the Norris Creek Bridge will be done soon”! So that last 2 years I believed them & re-routed the century route to go over the bridge. For years it’s been “fake news”. Well, no more. If appears to be done. Now, hopefully they’re paving that final 1.5 miles from Minerats Rd to the bridge. The 2026 Griz will now be epic!

On a bit of a vacation now that the Griz is done. Today I got a great ride in in Flagstaff AZ! I love this place. The riding is great & the climbing is a breeze, 27 miles today, 800’ of gain!

The Griz (& The Milo, the official event dog) So, it’s Thursday night, 10/2 & it’s raining, but according to the forecast it should end about 3am. So the gravel routes should be perfect, & the paved routes are paved, so I’m guessing rinsed clean? Anyways, still a few spaces & meals are waiting for you “fence sitters”
