North East Boys Indoor soccer tourney underway!! Seneca vs. Corry 5/6th grade boys. Fun soccer going on all day with 22 teams playing for tourney champs!

2025 Season wrap up at Boys Soccer Banquet tonight. Some exuberant applause, players and coaches recognitions, and “thank you’s” to players and families for their endless dedication and time. Great night celebrating some pretty awesome kids and families. 🍇⚽️

Finally posting some pics from Picker’s final game of their season vs Harborcreek in D10 quarterfinal on Oct 21. Harborcreek went into half time with a 1-0 lead. North East (Vanderweele) scored early at the start of the second half and the game remained tied until Harborcreek scored off a header in the 65th minute. All of the Pickers on the pitch put up quite the fight vs the Huskies but ultimately lost with a score of 2-1.

Best of luck to Harborcreek and Fairview teams as they vie for D10 championship title on this rainy, cold and windy night. Playoff soccer weather never disappoints. 😅

Sign ups for indoor winter soccer have started! 🍇⚽️If you are interested in your child joining for some winter fun please be aware of the following:

*NEFC (unaffiliated with the school district) will field Boys teams in the 5/6, 7/8 and HS age brackets, as well as a HS girls team.

*Practices are Wednesday evening at PennBriar and there are games on Sat and/or Sun at PennBriar or Erie Sports Center dome.

*fill out the google form linked below and watch for coming info to your provided email or text
OR
*stop by the HS field house by the stadium field this Sat Nov 1 from 10am -11 am to meet Dave Wedzik (HS boys head coach) and a few parents of current HS players to ask questions and/or sign up.
