Last night North Chicago Boys participated in our Northern Lake County Conference meet at Grayslake North High School. Starting off the night, each school selected an athlete to receive the Conference Sportsmanship Award. Representing North Chicago was Sophomore Shot Put and Discus thrower, Jonce Robinson! Congratulations Jonce on being selected. Jonce is a hard worker, never complains and just an obsolete pleasure to coach. He had a really good season being that this his first time doing track.
Here are the top performances on the JV level and varsity level.
JV level:
1st place 4x100 relay. Members: Jeremiah Lee, Ian Harden, Montell Terrell, Gavin Bone
1st place 4x200 relay. Members: Same.
100 dash 3rd place Gavin Bone. 6th place Jeremiah Lee.
200 dash 4th place Jeremiah Lee
400 dash 1st place Bronzell Howard
110 high hurdles 4th place Cameren Streety
300 low hurdles 4th place Cameren Streety
4x400 relay 2nd place. Members: Gadin Bone, Jacob Williams, Gavin Bone, Bronzell Howard.
Discus 5th place LaVontae Washington
1st place Long Jump Montell Terrell
4th place High Jump Latrell O’Bryant
Varsity Level:
3rd place Shot Put Lepresce Wade
3rd place 4x209 relay. Members: Jamir Moore, Depresce Wade, Dyzhirr Usher,Anthony Fisher
3rd place 4x100 relay. Members: Jamir Moore, Anthony Fisher, Depresce Wade, Marlin Jeffries
Triple Jump 1st place Mark Williams. 4th place Damond Streety
100m Dash 5th place Anthony Fisher and in 1st place with a time of 10.55 seconds Marlin Jeffries. Marlin is now ranked 2nd in the state in class 2A.
200m dash in 4th place Anthony Fisher and in 1st place with a time of 21.63 seconds.
And in the Long Jump, 1st place Marlin Jeffries. Right now Marlin is ranked #1 in the state across ALL 3 state classes. Good job fellas! Big ups to our JV team. You represented very well. Many of these guys competed in their last meet of the season. We look forward to your continued growth in Track & Field and helping to continuing changing the culture of our team.

We are extremely proud of all the hard work, dedication, and perseverance they’ve shown throughout their journey. Excited to see all that’s ahead for them as they begin this next chapter.
