DNE School of Dance About DNE School of Dance Founded under the name Dance New England in 1996 by Lynn Webster Makiej.

DNE School of Dance is devoted to creating the best possible environment for dance instruction and social ballroom dancing. Lynn is a strong believer that one of the most important elements in a successful dance experience is to simply have fun & enjoy ones' self. The studio is located in a renovated North Chelmsford mill building and boasts a over 8000 square feet of studio & ballroom space over two levels. YOUTH BALLROOM💃

DNE is excited to bring back Youth Ballroom!

Students will explore the fundamentals of ballroom dance through American Smooth and American Rhythm styles. Classes will focus on ballroom frame, lead and follow, timing, posture, movement, musicality, and learning 3–4 patterns in each dance style.

Styles may include Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, and Cha Cha.

Youth Ballroom 1

Ages 9–11
Mondays | 5:30–6:15 PM
$74 Monthly Tuition Installment
Performs in Saturday Morning Show (B)

Youth Ballroom 2

Ages 11–18
Wednesdays | 7:00–7:45 PM

🚗DNE PARKING LOT POLICY🚗

We are so excited to kick off DNE’s 2026/27 seasontomorrow!! We can’t wait to welcome all of our students back and see everyone starting next week. We’re looking forward to an amazing season together!

As a reminder, our parking lot can be a very busy place!
If you are dropping off or picking up your dancer,
please pull all the way up past the Cafe entrance then
loop around the center parking area to exit.

Drop Off & Pick Up needs to happen quickly...
PLEASE DO NOT WAIT IN YOUR CAR DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE
as this causes a major traffic back up and is unsafe for pedestrians in the parking lot. If you arrive before your dancer is outside of the building, please either make another loop around the parking lot or find an empty parking spot to wait until your dancer is dismissed and waiting for pick up.
If you carpool or have family members driving your dancer, please let them know
about our Parking Lot Policy.

ALL TRAFFIC MUST MOVE AROUND THE CENTER PARKING AREA TO KEEP THE FLOW GOING IN THE SAME DIRECTION.

Pick Up & Parking!
We are asking our older dancers to please utilize the Rear Parking Lot and to use our
Rear Entrance.
Please see the diagram for a visual of how the traffic should flow. We truly appreciate everyone’s cooperation with this.

Build strength, balance, technique, control and confidence while taking your turns to the next level!

NEW! TRIX CLASS with Miss Kim
Ages 9–18 | Saturdays 11:00am–12:00pm
September 19–November 14 | $160
Explore unique acro skills, partner tumbling and fluid combinations.
*Must have completed two Acro sessions.
