Last week, we said goodbye to a very special member of the C&S Shooting Sports family. For the last 10 years, Sarge wasn’t just a dog at the range… he was part of the heart of this place.
If you ever stopped by the shop, chances are you saw him stretched out somewhere nearby, peacefully sleeping with a toy close by, quietly keeping an eye on everything going on around him. He had the gentlest spirit and brought a calm presence to the range that simply can’t be replaced.
Sarge took his job responsibilities very seriously… especially when it came to testing every new squeaky toy product that came through the store and making sure no laser ever escaped his watchful pursuit. And while Josh may have tried to convince him otherwise, Sarge firmly believed that dinner always tasted better at the range, especially when it came with “sprinkles.”
The range feels a little quieter without him here. We already miss the sound of his paws on the floor, his sleepy afternoon naps, and the way he made this place feel a little more like home.
Most of all, we are sending so much love to his dad, Josh. Thank you for sharing Sarge with all of us for so many years. He was deeply loved by our staff, our customers, and everyone lucky enough to know him.
More than just a shop dog, you will always be part of the C&S family.

After 8 years with C&S Shooting Sports, it’s hard to put into words just how much PJ has meant to our business and our crew.

Through long days, busy seasons, challenges, and a whole lot of memories along the way, he has been a big part of helping C&S grow into what it is today. In a small business, the people beside you every day become more than coworkers, they become part of the family, and we’re truly thankful for everything PJ has given over the years.

As he starts a new chapter, we want to say thank you for the hard work, loyalty, laughs, and dedication throughout the years. To say you will be missed is an understatement. PJ, we’re wishing you nothing but success and happiness in whatever comes next!
