Highs and lows for me at Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati during the last two rounds of RMC Americas my first ROTAX race at the national level.

I spent the first practice day learning the track, with the help of James Overbeck. It paid off, as I showed strong pace during the second practice day.

I had a few good moments both races days, gaining multiple positions early in the Prefinals and Finals, as well as putting in the best qualifying time in my group the second race day. But a combination of bad luck, mechanical problems, and setup & on track mistakes hurt my results.

Qualifying - P20 of 28
Pre-Final - P17
Final - P20

Day 2:
Qualifying - P11
Prefinal - P15
Final: P21

Many lessons learned, both off track and on track. I'll be ready for the next one.

Great weekend of racing in the ROTAX Max Junior class and spending time with friends for the first two rounds of the Great Lakes Sprint Series and Black River Kart Club at Lorain Ohio KartPlex!

I got pole position and won the pre-final and final both days!

Good racing in the first round of the Midwest Apex Karting Championships at New Castle Motorsports Park. It was my first race in the LO206 Jr class since CKNA Grand Nationals last September and my first time under the Roderick Racing Development tent.

Showed top five pace in practice on Friday, but wet conditions all day Saturday made qualifying and the two heat races a challenge.

I qualified 16th of 33 drivers after avoiding spins and crashes on each of my 3 qualifying laps. In heat 1, several karts got tangled up in front of me on the first lap. I had nowhere to go but off track to avoid hitting them, which dropped me to the back of the pack, but recovered to finish 19th. In the second heat, I moved from 16th to 12th, which put me in 14th position to start the pre final.

In the pre final I gained five positions in the first 3 laps, but after contact from another driver, fell back to 14th with a gap too large for me to recover any positions.

In the final, I fell four positions on the first lap after getting squeezed off track, but locked in after that and improved to 8th by the finish.

Another great day of racing for Round 2 of the 2026 Quaker City Karting Series, with 110 drivers entered. I competed in the ROTAX Junior class.

I struggled during warmups and qualifying in wet conditions, coming out 7th out of 10 drivers, but made up for it during the pre final by making moves early on a dry track to work my way to 3rd. In the last few turns of the final lap I made the pass for 2nd but made contact and got a penalty, which placed me 5th going into the final.

In the final I gained two positions at the start and made two more passes in the remaining laps to get the win.

Happy to share the podium with PF Racing (great pace all day, especially in the rain) and Colin (great P7 to P3 run in the final)!

Great start to the 2026 Quaker City Karting Series. The park was packed with over 100 drivers, even though it rained hard all morning and the night before.

This year I am racing in the ROTAX Max Junior class, and the first round was my first race in the ROTAX at Quaker City. I was 2nd fastest in warmups on a wet track, but made the wrong choice of tires for qualifying and fell to 4th.

In the pre final, I was able to make moves early to take the lead and pull away to finish 1st. In the final I got a great start, led every lap, finished 1st, and broke the ROTAX Junior track record in the process.

for supporting the first race of the season.
