Here’s a breakdown of where ANYONE can begin making progress on their Nordics.

It’s a long game to play but one definitely worth playing.

Eccentrics are a great way to build strength & durability.

Check out Rob Miller’s first ever attempts!

He’ll be ripping reps in no time!

You can too!

HOLD ON FOR YOUR LIFE

Grip strength is one of the strongest independent predictors of all-cause mortality and overall lifespan.

For every 5 kg (11 lbs) decrease in handgrip strength, an individual’s risk of death from any cause increases by roughly 16% to 20%.

Your grip strongly correlates with your overall muscle mass. As people age, they ultimately lose muscle. A declining grip indicates that you are losing muscle everywhere, including your legs and core.

Some things we do at the gym to improve our grip strength are grip carries, grippers, farmer carries, dead lifts, chin ups, as well as hangs.
