The Ohio Gladiators Player Sponsorship Announcement!
SSC The Dome will be sponsoring 2023 Ohio Gladiators Linebacker, Doak Walker Jr.
Doak is coming into his fifth season as an Ohio Gladiator. The 2022 Ohio Gladiator Defensive MVP is one of the most talented and tenacious players on one of the area’s top defenses.
Doak is a graduate of McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio. In high school Doak competed in baseball, football, and rugby. As a star high school football player, Doak was awarded the Game’s Most Valuable Player Award for his play in the Massillon v McKinley game.
Doak went on to play college football at Thiel College where he led the team in tackles in his first year and finished 6th in tackles in the PAC. He also received ALL-PAC Honors as well as the team’s Defensive Newcomer of the Year Award.
Doak is now a licensed insurance agent with Trubridge/ Tranzact and a proud father of two.
