🧰LEGENDS TAKE GAME 2! 🧧2-0 AFTER DAY ONE Saturday, June 6, 2026, | Old Bridge, NJ. The Legends powered 🔥past the SJ Sugar Kings 12-9 to sweep the opening day doubleheader! Standout Performances: Returning Legend Jared Cassella (Flemington, NJ / University of Scranton ‘27) went 2-for-3, drove in 2 runs, scored 2 runs, and walked 3 times. Absolute offensive masterclass!
Returning Legend Thomas Maher (Nanuet, NY / Bryant University) shut the door in relief: 4 innings, 7 strikeouts, just 2 earned runs. Lights out closing!

🧰 LEGENDS⚾ WIN FIRST GAME OF THE 2026 SEASON! The Legends opened the year with a big victory this past Saturday in Old Bridge, NJ! On the mound, strong pitching carried the day: Starter Zach Taylor (Fair Lawn, NJ / Endicott College) delivered a solid outing in his return.
Followed by Pablo Santos (Jersey City, NJ) and an Elon commit who tossed a scoreless inning in relief.
Closer Jack Veith (Franklin, NJ / Wilkes University) slammed the door🔒 with two scoreless innings.
Veith, a two-way player, is expected to contribute big on both the mound and in the field this season. Offensively, Michael Bravette (West Caldwell, NJ / George Washington University) led the way with 3 hits, 3 RBIs, 2 runs scored, and 2 stolen bases. Great team effort for the first W! Let’s keep rolling!
