Congratulations to our August Player and Coach of the Month!

Oscar C. | Player of the Month

This was Oscar’s very first summer at Koa Camp at Cedarbrook, and he spent all six weeks with us crushing it! Oscar shows up every morning with a big smile, ready to run, swin and bring the energy. He is also a six time Sharks and Minnows champ! We loved having him with us this summer, congratulations Oscar!

Coach Eva | Coach of the Month

Coach Eva or better known as Twizzler has been with us at Cedarbrook for four years! She comes every day ready to care for our campers and bring the energy. Coach Twizzler is always ready to run a fun game of Army vs Navy, kickball and hop in the pool with our campers at swim time! We are so lucky to have you Coach Twizzler!

We would like to welcome our new Assistant Athletic Director Zack Temenak!

Zack is a huge DC sports fan, cheering on the Nationals, Wizards, Capitals, and Commanders. In high school, he played baseball for Blake High School. He has worked a variety of positions in sports throughout high school and college including; coaching MCBA, Full Court Analytics, coaching SST Thunderbolts camp, Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy, Pro Football Focus, and College World Series Inc.

He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Sport Management from Florida State University where he became a diehard Seminole fan for life.
