The Inner Athlete provides a FUN atmosphere that promotes self-confidence through sport and movement. We believe that developing the child as a WHOLE involves nurturing the mind, soul, and BODY. At TIA, we provide an inviting & non-competitive environment of "specialized small group coaching" based on the needs of the young athletes within the group. As a result, growth in your child's social skills, motor skills, and overall fitness level will be unmistakable. Technology has drastically changed society and has created a culture of sedentary and detached children. We provide the motivation and the knowledge for the children to WANT to incorporate activity into their lives with the help of our talented professional coaches. TIA provides the tools necessary to help each child discover their "inner athlete" that inevitably spawns an appreciation of overall health, movement, and sport.

MEET THE TEAM MONDAY 👋 Meet Coach Kendall! 💚

A Hoboken local through and through, Coach Kendall grew up right here and brings that hometown energy to every class. From studying at the University of Delaware to being a huge Yankees and Knicks fan, she’s all about staying active, positive, and team-focused. ⚾️🏀

When she’s not coaching, you can probably find her grabbing a slice from Napolis 🍕so she’s definitely got great taste all around 😉

We’re so excited to have her inspiring our athletes, building confidence, and making every session fun. 💪

Fall classes are back at The Inner Athlete, with sports + movement programs for little ones 18 months and up. From first-time movers to young athletes, kids can build coordination, confidence, teamwork, and a love of being active—all while having FUN. 🏀⚽️🎾

There are classes for every age, including Lil’ Sport, Rookie, Rookie Overtime, Sluggers, TIA Soccer, JV & Varsity, Cheer, and TIA Elite.

A familiar face on the field and a big part of what makes TIA so special. From his love of the game (shoutout Ecuador 🇪🇨 + Borussia Dortmund) to his passion for helping kids grow their confidence, Coach Berto brings energy, positivity, and real connection to every session.
