North Coos Waterfront easily dispatched Pepsi in game 2 Wednesday, 14-5.

Pepsi got on the board in the first inning after Kamden Decker tripled, scoring three runs.

North Coos Waterfront jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Pepsi committed an error, Landen Serrano grounded into a fielder's choice, and Matthew Swank singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

Kellan Little singled to left field, which helped Pepsi tie the game at four in the top of the third.

North Coos Waterfront flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring five runs on one hit to take the lead, 9-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a walk by Josh Sullivan that drove in two.

Four more North Coos Waterfront runs crossed the plate in the fifth inning to extend the lead to 13-5. Josh Sullivan doubled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Blaze Wheeling homered to left field, scoring two runs.

Matthew Swank earned the win for North Coos Waterfront. The pitcher allowed one hit and one run over three innings, striking out six and walking three. Kit Curry took the loss for Pepsi. The starting pitcher went two innings, giving up seven runs (five earned) on seven hits, striking out one and walking two. Josh Sullivan started on the bump for North Coos Waterfront. The pitcher gave up two hits and three runs over one inning, striking out one and walking three. Brayden Anderson threw one inning of shutout ball for North Coos Waterfront in relief. Johnson’s Big Day Propels North Coos Waterfront Past Pepsi

Tharin Johnson collected three hits in three at bats, as North Coos Waterfront defeated Pepsi 15-4 on Wednesday. Tharin Johnson singled in the fifth inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the first inning.

North Coos Waterfront jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Landen Serrano drew a walk, scoring one run, Blaze Wheeling doubled, scoring one run, and Alexander Peck singled, scoring two runs.

Pepsi tied the game in the top of the second thanks to a fielder's choice by Kellan Little, a walk by Rowan Randol, a walk by Case Boe, and a walk by Kamden Decker.

North Coos Waterfront took the lead in the bottom of the second. Matthew Swank doubled, scoring one run, to give North Coos Waterfront the lead, 5-4.

North Coos Waterfront added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Alexander Peck doubled to left field, and Brayden Anderson flew out, each scoring one run.

North Coos Waterfront scored six runs on four hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Matthew Swank hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Blaze Wheeling doubled, scoring one run, Tharin Johnson singled, scoring one run, a passed ball scored one run, an error scored one run, and an error scored one run.

North Coos Waterfront Make Comeback Attempt, But Fall To South Coast Kraken Legion 18U

Despite a 5-run deficit in the sixth inning, North Coos Waterfront almost came all the way back, eventually falling 7-5 to South Coast Kraken Legion 18U on Monday. North Coos Waterfront scored three runs on a home run in the seventh inning.

North Coos Waterfront opened the scoring in the first after a wild pitch scored one run.

South Coast Kraken Legion 18U took the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Barrett Thomas grounded out, and South Coast Kraken Legion 18U scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.

Landen Serrano stole home, which helped North Coos Waterfront tie the game at two in the top of the sixth.

South Coast Kraken Legion 18U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the sixth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 7-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Hayden Draper that drove in two.

North Coos Waterfront scored three runs in the top of the seventh on a home run to left field by Blaze Wheeling.

Brandon Wendelin earned the win for South Coast Kraken Legion 18U. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out 15 and walking four. Zac Barnes took the loss for North Coos Waterfront. The hurler went one-third of an inning, surrendering four runs on three hits, striking out none and walking one. Blaze Wheeling started the game for North Coos Waterfront. The pitcher surrendered one hit and two runs (one earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one.

Blaze Wheeling provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led North Coos Waterfront with three runs batted in. The number three hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Josh Sullivan set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading North Coos Waterfront with four hits in four at bats. Josh Sullivan and Landen Serrano each stole multiple bases for North Coos Waterfront. North Coos Waterfront ran wild on the base paths, tallying eight stolen bases for the game. North Coos Waterfront turned one double play in the game.

Wheeling Leads North Coos Waterfront Past South Coast Kraken Legion 18U

Blaze Wheeling collected three hits in three at bats, as North Coos Waterfront defeated South Coast Kraken Legion 18U 7-4 on Monday. Blaze Wheeling hit a home run to left field in the sixth inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the second inning.

North Coos Waterfront opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. North Coos Waterfront first got on the board when Matthew Swank singled, scoring two runs.

North Coos Waterfront committed an error, which helped South Coast Kraken Legion 18U tie the game at three in the bottom of the second.

In the top of the fourth, North Coos Waterfront broke up the tie when Josh Sullivan singled, scoring one run. Then a double by Blaze Wheeling followed to extend the lead to 5-3.

North Coos Waterfront scored two runs in the top of the sixth on a home run to left field by Blaze Wheeling on a full count.

Logan Garmon earned the win for North Coos Waterfront. The hurler allowed four hits and one run over five innings, striking out five and walking two. Micheal Phinney took the loss for South Coast Kraken Legion 18U. The righty went four and one-third innings, giving up five runs (four earned) on six hits, striking out seven and walking three. Matthew Swank started on the mound for North Coos Waterfront. The hurler surrendered two hits and three runs (two earned) over two innings, striking out two and walking two.

Josh Sullivan collected two hits for North Coos Waterfront in four at bats. Alexander Peck stole two bases. North Coos Waterfront turned two double plays in the game.

Barrett Thomas drove the middle of the lineup, leading South Coast Kraken Legion 18U with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-3 on the day.
