Our guides and instructors don’t just teach an avalanche curriculum… they put it to practice ski guiding around the world, pioneering new routes, authoring guidebooks, and leading the industry as examiners/instructors at both the rec and pro levels. We’ve been guiding at Snoqualmie Pass longer than anyone else and we are the only company permitted to guide at Crystal Mountain and the surrounding backcountry. Only PGS offers 30 years of Swiss mountain heritage delivered with American spirit.
New this year, we are adding to our women’s/non-binary programs with an AIARE 2 and AIARE Refresher course that is fun, safe, and welcoming. We offer a variety ot course itineraries to fit your schedule… evening classroom options, mid-week courses, as well as an AIARE 1 Plus with an extra (third) day in the field to give you more opportunity to put your new skills to practice.
