Congratulations to the Aurora Lightning for a great weekend of baseball at the KCBL Tournament. Taking 3rd place and running through the gauntlet of teams that we did was a fantastic accomplishment. Nothing but praise for a great group of young men and the families that support them. Thanks!! Coach B

Another good game tonight for the Lightning. 15 to 2 winners over the Warrenville Warriors at home. This improves our overall record to 7 and 2. 3 and 1 in KCBL play. Highlights included 3 strong innings on the mound from Drew Wagner, a 1st inning laser like 2 run homer by Logan Love to start the scoring, and good hitting nights from Gabe Villanueva, and Aaron Medlin. Abrian Rosa also added 3 RBIs and pitched one inning in relief.

The Aurora Lightning would like to express our condolences to the Oswego Panthers 12U travel team on the loss of one of their teammates this week. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and teammates. We will do our best to honor his memory by playing hard, fair, and enjoying every minute of baseball, a game he loved.
