March was a hard month for us 😔 We lost another amazing fighter. Doug never stopped fighting what life threw at him. Parkinson’s , CPOD, and cancer….. and he still showed up daily and fought.
And up until the last day I held mitts for him ( just 3 weeks ago) that left cross would push me back and make a loud clap. It was his favorite part of me holding mitts.
Doug we will all miss you so much. I’ll miss that smile and your sarcasm when I would ask you how you were doing and feeling and I’ll miss your never quit attitude that was truly inspiring ❤️
I promise when I get to heaven some day I’ll have my mitts with me and I’ll be ready for that left cross ❤️❤️

We have lost an amazing fighter. My Roger. I’m having a hard time finding the words to make sense of this loss. Roger was so strong. Not just physically but mentally as well. Not only was he kicking Parkinson’s ass but he was also diabetic. And every single day he showed up, no matter what, and he fought. He would come in early before class and he would do cardio, or lift and then he would take class after that and give it everything he had.

Roger I will miss you so much. I’ll miss our talks and spending time together. I’ll miss you coming to see my kids play sports and asking how they are doing and to see pictures. I’ll miss you being a part of our lives. I already miss seeing your face everyday and busting each others butts. Oliver misses your walks together and your bags full of treats and you letting him pick his own out.

Thank you for letting me and our PD crew be apart of your life. I am so so grateful you were apart of ours. You have changed my life for the better.

I hope heaven had plenty of Mike and Ike’s and Jr mints and I hope that you will save me some.
