Stevens Pond

Our water test results have come back high again today at the pond, and unfortunately with this increase it is unlikely we will be able to bring the average down to permit swimming even with continued testing. Therefore the town has made the decision to close the pond early for the season. Our last day will be this Sunday, August 17th, with hours for the next three days 10am to 5pm.
The beach and playground will remain open through this time, and it looks like it will be sunny both Saturday and Sunday, so we will be setting up the sprinklers here for anyone looking to cool off on a hot day!
We were open much longer than other ponds in the area, so we're thankful we had as good of a season as we did! Thanks to everyone for a great summer at Stevens Pond!

The water is still closed at Stevens Pond today, August 13th. We are continuing to test daily, and our test levels are decreasing with each day, so we are hopeful that we may be open this weekend. Updates will be posted here when we can reopen for swimming. Again, the beach and playground remain open, and we have sprinklers set up on the sand!

The water at Stevens Pond will remain closed for swimming today, August 12th. Our test results continue to decrease, but our average is still above the permitted level. Water tests are taken daily, so we will have an update tomorrow morning on if the water can reopen. The beach area and playground are open during this closure!

Our test results are improving at Stevens Pond, but our average is still too high to permit swimming, so the water will be closed through Monday at the pond. However, the beach and playground area will be open, and we have sprinklers on the sand! If you're looking to cool off this weekend, we're free for all North Andover residents!

We will get new results Tuesday morning, and are hopeful that our numbers will continue to decrease. Thank you to everyone for their patience!

The water is closed at Stevens Pond, but we will still be holding Arts and Crafts today at 3pm. The beach is open during this time!

The Pond is currently closed due to a high bacteria reading on our most recent water test. We will be retesting today and will post when we are able to reopen the water safely. The beach/sand will still be open while the water is closed. Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who came to the swim meet yesterday! Even in the cloudy weather, we had a great time. Extra special congratulations to our three log roll champions, Amel, Greg and Anthony!

We've also got our tie dye day coming up all day on Friday, August 1st! Bring your own white T-shirts or other cotton fabric items and all other supplies will be provided.

The swim meet is today at Stevens Pond! Due to the rain, we'll be delaying the start of the event until 3pm. The rain should let up around 2pm, and so we'll still be holding the meet for everyone that still wants to join us, even in the cloudy weather!
