Tomorrow the Drury High School Girls Basketball team heads to Tsongas Center in Lowell to compete in the MIAA Girls Basketball State Championship! 🏀

🏀 Thank You for a Great Basketball Season! 🏀

As our NAYBL basketball season comes to an end, we want to thank all of our players, coaches, families, and volunteers for a fantastic season. We loved seeing everyone on the court and watching our players grow and have fun!

While basketball may be wrapping up, spring sports are just getting started ⚾

If your child is interested in playing baseball, sign-ups are now happening. Be sure to register soon so your player doesn’t miss out on the season.

Thanks again for being part of NAYBL—we hope to see everyone back on the court next winter and out on the field this spring!

🏀 James Shaker Award 🏀

The James Shaker Award honors the legacy of James Shaker, who was a passionate basketball enthusiast. Whether he was playing, coaching, or refereeing, James dedicated countless hours to the game and to the kids in our league. He coached both house and travel teams at many levels, and while he loved competition, his true goal was always teaching the game the right way and sharing the spirit of basketball with young players.

This award recognizes a player who not only excels as a league player, but also gives back to the league by helping officiate games and supporting the program in every way possible.

🏆 This year’s James Shaker Award recipient is Landon Garner.

Landon has shown a strong commitment to the league both on and off the court. In addition to being a dedicated player, he has volunteered his time refereeing games and helping support the younger players and the program as a whole.

Congratulations, Landon, on this well-deserved honor and thank you for helping carry on the spirit of the game that James Shaker cared so deeply about. 👏🏀

The Alison M. Moulton Felix Memorial Award was created to honor the memory of Alison, who will always be remembered for her incredible character, kindness, and the positive impact she had on so many lives in our community.

This award recognizes a player who demonstrates exemplary dedication, sportsmanship, leadership, and most importantly, kindness—the same qualities that made Alison so special.

We are proud to announce that the 1st Annual Alison M. Moulton Felix Memorial Award recipient is Remee Stred. 🌟

Remee has shown outstanding character both on and off the court and truly embodies the spirit of what this award represents.

🏀 Caleb Jacobbe Award Winner 🏀

Each year, the Caleb Jacobbe Award is given to a 4th grade player who truly represents what youth sports are all about—showing a love for the game, being a great teammate, demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship, and displaying strong character both on and off the court.

This year, we are proud to recognize Sawyer Cellana as the recipient of the Caleb Jacobbe Award. 🎉

Sawyer consistently showed a true love of basketball throughout the season and was known for being a supportive teammate and a positive presence on the court. His sportsmanship and attitude exemplify the values this award was created to honor.
