At Blue Gems Swim School, we don't just focus on water safety and building comfort and confidence in the water, we also emphasize proper technique every step of the way. At Blue Gems Swim School, we do much more than teach beginners how to be safe and confident in the water.

As swimmers progress through our levels, our focus evolves from building water confidence and safety skills to refining technique and mastering more advanced swimming skills. Swimmers learn proper stroke mechanics, open turns, flip turns, and how to perform each stroke with efficiency and confidence.

Our goal is to help every swimmer become not only safe in the water but also technically skilled and capable of reaching their full potential.

Once swimmers successfully complete our Sapphire Program, they have the opportunity to advance into our Diamond Program. In this program, swimmers continue developing their technique, endurance, and strength while participating in friendly races and challenges that encourage teamwork, motivation, and personal growth. The competitive aspect helps swimmers push themselves, support one another, and have fun while improving their skills.

💦 Learning Nose Bubbles! 💦

Nose bubbles are an important swimming skill that helps swimmers become comfortable putting their faces in the water while developing breath control and breath-holding skills.

🐟 Make a fishy face to practice keeping your lips closed.
🎵 Close your lips and make a humming sound to create bubbles from your nose.
👀 Practice with a friend, parent, or in the mirror to check that the bubbles are coming from your nose!

Our swimmers learn how to blow nose bubbles through fun drills and games that build confidence, breath control, and water comfort. Mastering nose bubbles is a big step toward independent swimming and learning to safely manage breathing in the water!
