"The World's Largest Swimming Lesson" will be held on June 25, 2026. 🥳

🏊 Tens of thousands of kids and adults at aquatic facilities worldwide will unite for the 17th year in a row to spread the word that swimming lessons save lives! The swim lessons will be offered to children ages 3 to 15, and there will be four different session times for you to choose from.

These FREE 30-minute courses will be held at Westwood Family Aquatic Center from 8:30 to 11:00 am. Participants will leave with a free day pass to return and enjoy the Aquatic Center! 😎

🇺🇸 Celebrate America's 250th anniversary with one of the city's longest-running traditions — the 51st Annual Westwood Golf Invitational, July 3-5th!

⛳ This 54-hole stroke play tournament features first-place prizes in every flight, including a trophy and five hundred dollars in pro shop credit. New this year, a senior flight on Friday and Saturday!

Presented by Oklahoma Tickets and open to amateurs and professionals. Registration includes green fees, drink tickets, lunch, and a commemorative hat. Register by July 1 at westwoodinvitational.com.

Today, Westwood Family Aquatic Center received an inspection from the health department, and we're happy to report we got a clean bill of health!

While we didn't know the inspector was coming, our team approaches every day like inspection day. From water quality checks and facility maintenance to keeping the grounds clean and welcoming, our staff goes above and beyond to make Westwood the best it can be. Not just when someone's watching, but every single day.

Yes, that includes our concession area, where cleanliness and food safety are just as important to ensure everyone has a great day at the pool.

The slides are sparkling, the water is crystal clear, the concessions stand is inspection-ready, and according to the inspector, we're “five-star” approved. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We'd call that a pretty good day at the pool. 🏊☀️
