Coyote Trapalooza 2023
A chance to win money and save the wildlife.
The rising population in coyotes has decreased turkey, quail, and deer population by a large percentage… we want to do something about it.
A Coyote Pot will be held in Norman, AR. (STATEWIDE COMPETITION)
◦ $40 per person
◦ 2 man teams ($80a team)
◦ 1st place winner takes half the pot
◦ 2nd place takes 1/4 of the pot
◦ The other 1/4 of the pot goes back in to the foundation
◦ Entry fees are due Sept 30th, 2023
◦ You may begin trapping Oct 1st, 2023
◦ A tail from each coyote must be turned in at deadline (salted on the meat end)
◦ Deadline is March 2nd, 2024 (ALL COYOTE TAILS MUST BE TURNED IN AT THE NORMAN GENERAL STORE AT NOON)
◦ Any LEGAL method of harvesting coyotes (AGFC RULES AND REGULATIONS) is permitted for the Coyote Trapalooza
◦ THIS IS A STATEWIDE COMPETITION, EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE
◦ Each tail tally’s as 1 point.
◦ The most points (tails) at deadline wins 1st place. 2nd most tails wins 2nd place.
The money that the foundation takes will be used to restore and maintain quail, turkey, and deer populations across Arkansas.
