The Packers finished their season at the GHSA 6A State Championship yesterday with a 323-313 and finishing 10th. Cavin Hall led the Packers with a two day score of 157 (79-78). Leighton Hood (159) shot a 76 on day 2 which led the Pack and included 4 birdies. Gannon Hargraves shot 163 to cap off his impressive Freshman season. Peyton Collins (166) and Reese Hood (171) rounded out the Pack. Finally, our Senior Michael Hall (159) birdied his last hole in his Packer career to wrap up a great 8 year run. Go Pack!

Senior Spotlight - Michael Hall who has been a Packer Golfer since 5th grade and is heading to Georgia Southern next year!

Thank you to all the parents for their support throughout this season! And a special thanks to Lindsey Plymel, Catelyn Hatcher and Brittney Tillery for doing a wonderful job decorating and setting up tonight as well as Rod Howell for hosting and feeding us!

State Bound! Led by Low Medalist Cavin Hall’s 69 & Runner Up Low Medalist Reese Hoods 71, the Packers advanced to State by shooting a 289 and winning Sectionals today. Senior Michael Hall shot 73 and finished on the All Tournament team for the 3rd straight tournament joining Cavin and Reese. Freshman Gannon Hargraves shot 76, which was the lowest score by a freshman today. It was the lowest team score the Packers have had since 2014. The State is hosted by North Paulding at Bentwater in Acworth, GA.

The Packers shot 296 to finish in 3rd place at Area and advance to Sectionals next week! The Packers were led by Cavin Hall’s 73, who placed 7th. Peyton Collins and Michael Hall both shot 74 and Leighton Hood shot 75. All 4 players finished in the top 13 individually, and it was Peyton’s career tournament round! Reese Hood shot 77 and Gannon Hargraves an 80 to round out the team. A great day for the Pack!

The Packers finished in 7th place in the Trojan Invitational in Carrollton with scores of 308-314. Reese Hood led the Packers with scores of 72-72 to finish in 8th place individually. Gannon Hargraves finished as the lowest freshman in the field with scores of 73-79 including having 7 birdies in round 1. Go Pack!

Some of our guys also enjoyed a great time at Prom from last week!
