Krav Maga Normal

Krav Maga Normal Class times: 6:00pm Tuesdays and 9:00 am Saturdays at The Workout Company. Bill has a background in Kyokyushinkai Karate, boxing, Aikido and Krav Maga.

Krav Maga (“contact combat”) is an eclectic hand-to-hand combat system developed in Israel and originally derived from street-fighting skills developed by Imi Lichtenfeld. The physical training is a mix of an aerobic and anaerobic workout with a strong focus on hight intensity interval training. Scenarios are used to train students for various situations and training also covers situational awaren

ess to develop an understanding of one’s surroundings and potentially threatening circumstances before an attack occurs. Its also covers ways to deal with potentially violent situations, and physical and verbal methods to avoid violence whenever possible. He holds a second degree black belt in Krav Maga and is instructor certified both through KMU and the Wingate Institute in Israel. He is also a veteran and has served in the U.S. Army/Army Reserve. He attained the rank of Major. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a B.A. in International Studies and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
