100% Optional Open Gym - just wanted to create a time and a space that you all could meet up!

Athletes should bring extra water. Athletes do not need to stay for the duration of the open gym - please feel free to arrive/leave as needed.

Don't forget that you can always get a group of friends together and rent Flight Club exclusively if you'd like a little bit of a calmer atmosphere.

Flight Fam -

Please register so that:
A) you can be considered (15's and 17's are almost to their caps and the waitlist will begin very soon) and
B) we can adjust if needed. Looks like we may need to add teams, and we need to make those decisions ASAP - there is a ton of work required before season starts!

Thanks!

CALLING ALL BOYS

7th Grade - Seniors in HS

Listen - we've got to get you all in the same gym, at the same time - so we can determine who wants to compete and what that entails! Looking at a season December-Feb to prep for the FIRST EVER Spring School Season (for West & Community)!

At Flight, we've been committed to growing the game for three years now & we want what is best for all of these athletes! The fact is that we've got a wide range of talented athletes across Central IL & we need to collectively pull together in creative ways to ensure athletes are growing and evolving!

Please bring chairs & share with your friends! This meeting is for PARENTS AND ATHLETES to attend.

Also - if you are interested in helping us grow the game and would like to help coach these young men - please reach out to Coach Aimee ASAP (messenger is fine).

November Small Group Trainings are live!

In November - we'll break for Thanksgiving & will only meet the first three weeks in Nov. All Small Group trainings are coed & held at Flight Club - North Normal.

On Mondays:
❤BABY BIRDS! 430-530.
For K-4th & for beginner 5th/6th grade athletes. This program focuses on fundamental movements & volleyball skills.
❤3RD CONTACT 530-645.
For 5th-8th grade athletes. This program will focus on SCORING - looking through the net to put the ball in a place that leads to a point! We'll work on good free balls, our approach, and our decision-making skills.

On Wednesdays:
❤BODY LANGUAGE 530-645.
*TWO SESSIONS ONLY 11/4 and 11/18
We'll be going over body language and how our energy impacts those around us. Volleyball is incredibly mental & our reactions communicate for us. They show our confidence, our composure, and our commitment to our teammates. Great athletes control what they can, reset quickly when needed, and use their body language to build trust & bring up those around us. We'll discuss intentionality & how to assume positive intent with teammates also.
**Please note - this small group training is for athletes that can actively contribute in a rally - 7th grade through high school.

Send questions my way! Capped at 10 athletes/ session.

Happy National Coaches' Day, especially to those that are in the gym!

Flight Coaching Staff are the difference makers - the dreamers - and the fuel that keeps this program going.

I am beyond proud to know them as humans, to see them grow in their knowledge & expertise, and to see them win (and I'm not talking about the scoreboard here).

Send your favorite coach a little love in the comments! ❤
