🌴 Bonaire Dive Spotlight: Salt Pier 🇧🇶🤿
As Bonaire Freedom Week gets closer, we figured it was time to start highlighting a few of the island’s iconic dive sites…
First up: Salt Pier!
Massive pilings covered in marine life. Schools of fish weaving through the structure that open up like a door allowing you to pass. Squads of squid dancing in the sunlight. Smaller fish and creatures living among the rubble. And some of the most unique underwater lighting and atmosphere Bonaire has to offer.
Salt Pier is one of those dives where you can spend the whole time looking:
⬆️ up at the structure
⬇️ down in the bottom covering
đź‘€ and somehow still miss things
As a photographer this site is a favorite for good reason 📸
If conditions allow and no ships are loading the Bonaire salt, this is absolutely one of the Bonaire dives that sticks with people long after the trip is over.
