Say what you wanna say about me !! But make you mention I’m a state champion ‼️‼️ I’ve been coaching since i was 19 years olds, back the i was writing my offensive plays on lined paper 😂, i may not have had the means at the time but i always had the passion. I worked my ass of to get to this point. I never played college football, and i didn’t have a huge name coming out of high school, so safe to say nobody was checking for me. To be completely transparent, i got my first real coaching job because of a friend not being able to take the job. Even then i was just the next best thing. I took that position a made the best of it. Running the weight room, running the camera, setting up headset, all while coaching multiple on varsity and the OC on Jv. I worked tirelessly, just to be left with no job when the head coach retired. All of my colleagues had moved on by the grace of god a few good men took a notice in me and took me with them to the new destination. Same thing again, i took the opportunity and ran with and i didn’t look back. And when my close friend Raekwon Johnson got the athletic director job at NMS. I asked him just to give me a chance to show i knew this game and that i was ready to lead. And he did just that, he gave me a chance to show and prove. I almost lost that opportunity due to my own personal situations and circumstances that i put myself into. I was floating up stream with no paddle. Kids asking about workouts and could answer questions because i didn’t know if id keep my job. I went thru all of it alone, a lot of people i thought had my back left and jumped ship. And i was left to put the pieces back together. I had gotten on bad side some powerful people and atp i was untouchable. It took for a coach i had talk to in years, a person i didn’t have the best relationship with when he coached me. To give me an opportunity to coach at a high level. For that I’m forever grateful.
