Just a reminder that the 5th Annual Block Party is going on at the Eagles Club in Norfolk this weekend. We have 4 players from Philadelphia, 4 from Denver and a herd from Omaha and Lincoln. The A/B Draw (44 players) is nearing the championship round right now. We are expecting many more for the next 2 events.

The signup deadline for the A/B/C Draw is 6:30pm tonight. We will immediately draw teams and will be playing within 30 minutes. There are 5 great playing boards in the house. The event will roll into tomorrow afternoon. The A/B/C event format is designed so our league players here will be playing against similarly rated (or unrated) players. It's an awesome opportunity for our league players here to make a great tournament run and score some good cash.

If you can't make that, the Div 2 doubles (bring your partner) entry deadline is 5:30pm Saturday. That event will be registered at the Eagles Club and will be played at The Mint Bar.

Please think about coming out and playing an event or at least hanging out with a great group of players that have driven or flown over 1,500 miles to see what our community is all about. Northeast Nebraska is emerging as a national destination for shuffleboard!
