I think I may have a problem. Dear fellow POAers - I have done it again. This time, I feel like I have a solid excu - reason behind it. Introducing my new little money siphoning project, MyDiamondsAreHot, a yearling dark bay blanket filly (Skyrock Diamond Edge X Redemption). Another super pretty filly for me (ho ho ho!). What makes her stand out is that she has some home-grown breeding in her background. Her sire is Skyrock Diamond Edge, bred by us, and her granddam is Skyrock Ruby Six, also bred by us and also Bouncer's first foal. So you see, I couldn't help myself, and it is a perfectly legit reason to buy her (Thank You Amanda Leichner!). She came with the name Dixie, but we will have to change it, as no other pony can have that name as it forever belongs to our beloved Driftwood Dixie. AAANND - funnily enough, the last pony we got (mini for Bouncer) was ALSO called Dixie - and she had to have her name changed to Pixie. James came up with Bixby, which sounds similar and is kinda cute, so Bixby it is. Bixby is currently in training with Tracy Filla, and will be showing at the Rocky Mountain Regional and West World shows - so some of y'all will see her before I actually do- and then she will be coming home to SoCal. We're super excited to see her in person! Here's a picture of her for Show and Tell.

Happy Birthday to Ultimate Bounce (Bounce Back Jack X Ultimate Deelux) who is 26 years old today. Bounce is living his best life as a pasture potato (or, since we live in Southern CA and land is more valuable than gold by the pound, pen potato). He and his mini chum Pixie (Pixie Doodle to her BFFs) are hanging out and practicing doing nothing. He is still the most gentle, best boy ever.

If anyone is looking for a Small (51") black snowcap stallion, there is a Skyrock bred 5yo looking for a new home. Skyrock Diamond Edge (RY Diamond Equity X Skyrock Ruby Six) is available in time for late season for those AQHA mares. Owner is no longer breeding. He is a proven sire with his oldest crop being yearlings (one of which I bought myself), and a couple of 26s and another AQHA mare bred for 27. Has done live cover so far, but owner feels he could easily learn the phantom. Really good-looking, stout pony with Halter and Performance breeding. Please contact Peggy Boyer, who is on FB. Update on a fabulous Bouncer pony: Taking advantage of some beautiful weather, our friends went trail riding. The colorful lad in the lead there is Little Joe Bounce (Ultimate Bounce X My Little Irish Clover) an outside breeding we had a number of years ago. His owner Chelsea is one of the best trainers EVAR, and Joe Joe is trained to the max, which has helped him overcome losing his sight - yup - the pony in the lead is vision impaired. And the white ears you see belong to Monkey (and boy, I can't remember his registered name, he's always been Monkey to me, lol) owned and bred by long time POA friend Katy. Incidentally, Monkey had a short-lived period where he was used as a sire, and one of our ponies, Skyrock California Boy was by him and out of Skyrock Copper Penny. Monkey is a very happy trail pony now, and messes around in the desert with Katy. Sure looks like fun!

Nothing better than a pony and her little winning a big ol' neck ribbon! Skyrock Ruby Six (Cloudy to her BFFs) and her rider Emma had a great class! Her owner writes: "Cloudy did a jumpers gamblers choice today (get as many jumps and points as you can in 60 sec) she beat 5 other horses with Emma piloting her lol" It sounds like a super fun class at the show today!

Yay! Finally an update on Blaze (aka Diamond)! He was our 21 black snowcap c**t out of Skyrock Ruby Six by RY Diamond Equity that sold to the Pacific NW as a stallion prospect. He's now 5, I think, and he has indeed had a few babies and they are nice! Here are a couple of pictures of Blaze (Skyrock Diamond Edge) and a couple of his babies. I hear that he is for sale if anyone is interested in a SMALL (51") black snowcap. The yearling Palomino c**t is also for sale - Bev Routon has him.

Here's an update on Bouncer's oldest foal, Skyrock Ruby Six (Ultimate Bounce X Dually's Dazzling Star) or as she's known now Clouded Judgement. Their club held their first show of 2026 last weekend (you can tell it's still winter from the hair length), and Ruby/Cloudy had an admirer in the photographer. Here are a few pics from the show:

Well, as early as it is this year, we've had 2 or 3 days of over 100 degrees already. Sooooooo... haircuts it is! Bouncer ALWAYS carries FAR more hair than I think he does, and Pixie is, well, a mini, so everyone here knows what that means. Pics of the devastation below!
