Gold pans along with a container of true Bonito Silver ore and crystals will be available at the Bonito Lake Bait Stand starting this weekend. The ore and crystals will be mixed in with dirt so that the kids have to take it down to the river and learn how to pan it.
Remember you can still pan for silver and gold dust in the Bonito River. But make sure you are above the lake because the dam and lake stops all the minerals heading down stream.
We have 4 pans available but unlimited silver ore paydirt containers

On the Ruidoso 99.1 radio show today they were talking about Game and fish transforming Alto Lake into a Bass Lake. As soon as this goes through and because there are now smallmouth being caught at Bonito Lake we will now start carrying bass lures and tackle. We already have a selection of BBS Soft Plastics specifically for bass that we had not put on the shelf yet but will be available starting this next weekend

If there are any local artists doing fly ties and you want to make some money please DM us with a picture of your product and a picture of it working and let's strike a deal to start carrying it at the Bonito Lake bait stand.

Going to be working on developing a blue Xmas corn for a red and blue combo for 4th of July and Labor Day.
We will test it ourselves before it ever hits the shelves and this coming weekend we will have free samples of it at The bait stand for folks to try out after we do it initial verification that it works just as good as the other colors.
So if you come by The Bait Stand this weekend to pick up a free sample please let us know how it worked out for you. We have a couple regulars that are religious about blue lures during the summer heat so going to give it a shot
