Today we remember September 11, 2001, a day that forever changed our nation. We honor the thousands of innocent lives lost, the families lives that were changed forever, and the first responders who courageously answered the call without hesitation. We also remember the men and women of our military, who have since served and sacrificed in defense of our country and the freedoms we hold dear.

September 11th reminds us of the strength of the American spirit. Even in the face of unimaginable loss, our nation continued forward stronger through unity, service, sacrifice and resilience. Today we remember. We honor. And we continue on together. Never Forget.

Officer Dickinson has dedicated her life to protecting others. As an IMPD officer and single mother, she has spent her career serving our community while caring for her children and being there when others needed help.

Tragically, Officer Dickinson was shot in the line of duty and now faces a long road to recovery, including surgeries, rehabilitation, and time away from work.

Right now, her focus should be on healing—not worrying about lost income, household expenses, or how to provide for her family.

That’s why a fund has been established to support Officer Dickinson and her children during this difficult time. Donations will help with lost income, her children’s needs, and everyday expenses as she works toward recovery.
Officer Dickinson has spent her career putting herself in harm’s way to protect others. She was previously honored with the IMPD Medal of Bravery after risking her life to save a child.

Now, it’s our turn to stand with her.

Noblesville continues to show up to help our neighbors impacted by the flooding!

SERVE Village is collecting physical donations at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds and is working with community partners like Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County and Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank to distribute items to those in need.

Help is available 24/7 by calling 317-645-3261 and at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall A, 2003 Pleasant Street, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. You must also call 2-1-1 in order to be eligible for federal resources.

Both leaders have demonstrated outstanding dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving the Noblesville community throughout their careers. Their hard work and leadership continue to make a positive impact both within the department and throughout the city.
