Undefeated Barboursville takes on Clendenin/Elk in the championship round as they battle for the 2026 West Virginia Junior League Softball State Championship.

It's Day 3 of the Junior League Softball State Tournament, hosted at Nitro City Park!

It’s going to be another exciting day of softball as teams continue their pursuit of a state title!

Our Nitro All-Star team is back in action tonight after a big win last night! The evening will wrap up with an undefeated winners bracket showdown between Clendenin/Elk and Barboursville.

Come out and spend your evening with us! Our concessions will be serving the best food around and Appalachian Cup will be back on site!

It’s Day 2 of the Junior League State Softball Tournament in Nitro and our Nitro All-Stars are back in action tonight!

🥎 Tuesday, July 7th
⏰ Games begin at 6:00 PM
⭐ Nitro plays at 8:00 PM on KTF field
📍 Nitro City Park

Come out and enjoy another night of state tournament softball as we continue to welcome teams and fans to Nitro. We’d love to see plenty of red and black in the stands!

Concessions will be open, Appalachian Cup will be on site and today is the last day to purchase state tournament T-shirts at the tournament!

Congratulations to Nitro’s Kali Salmons as the Home Run Derby Champion with 4 home runs.

2nd place was Raelynn Burford

Then we had a 4-way tie for 3rd.

Our 9/11 Boys will begin their journey Sunday, July 5th as they travel to Bridgeport to compete in the state tournament. They will leave Nitro at 2pm and head towards the interstate. Line the streets, clap, wave, and make some noise as the police and fire department leads these boys out of Nitro.

We would also like to take a minute to thank all the team sponsors and the many others that donated to our team. I can’t say thank you enough, but the Cross Lanes/Nitro community really showed up in supporting this team like they do for everyone in the community. ❤️🖤

The Junior League Girls will be advancing to the Junior League State Tournament on July 6th as the District 3 Runner Ups.

Come out to Little Creek Park tonight at 6pm as our 8/10 AllStar team battles Elk for a chance to punch their ticket to the state tournament. Today will make their 5th game in a row these boys have been fighting hard.
