🚨 Lightning beat the Braves!🚨

Last night in the first round of the state tournament, the Nisswa Lightning took on the Le Sueur Braves at the Mini Met in Jordan! With a final score of 3-1, we move on to the next round!

Kody Reudisili was player of the game going 2-4 with two doubles, a run scored and a walk!

Isaiah Biehn got the win on the mound going 5 innings giving up one run!

Blaine Hardy was lights out in relief getting the save pitching the final 4 innings!

The second round of the state tournament will see us playing on Saturday night at 6:30pm in Shakopee! We will be taking on a familiar state tournament foe in the Raymond Rockets!

🚨 STATE TOURNAMENT TIME!!🚨

Your Nisswa Lightning will open up state tournament play TODAY at 4pm! In the first round of the 2026 Minnesota Baseball Association’s 103rd annual state tournament, we will be taking on the Le Sueur Braves! The game will be hosted at the Mini Met in Jordan, and live streamed on NSPN.tv. It’s our favorite time of the year!

🚨 PLAYOFFS - ROUND 2!🚨

Today, the Nisswa Lightning are taking on the Sobieski Ski’s in the 2nd round of the Victory League District 4B playoffs! The winning team will be punching their ticket to the 103rd Minnesota Amateur Baseball State Tournament!

Game time is scheduled for a 1:00pm start in Opole! If you can’t make it, you can listen to the game by downloading the You Are There Sports app, and listen to the voice of the Victory League, Rick Grammond!

Lightning win the first game of playoff action!!

Isaiah Biehn turned in a masterful performance against the Fort Ripley Rebels by throwing a NO HITTER!!! The Lightning advance with an 8-0 win, and will play next week on Sunday at 1pm against the Sobieski Ski’s in Opole!

Your Nisswa Lightning begin playoff action this morning in Upsala! We will start our push to the state tournament by taking on the Fort Ripley Rebels with a first pitch timed for 10:30am!

Time for playoff baseball… LET’S GO!

🚨 WE’RE TALKING PLAYOFFS!🚨

After wrapping up the regular season with a 15-5 win against the Pierz Brewers, we officially are moving into playoff time!

The Victory League District 4B tournament will be played in Upsala, Opole and Avon. And as it stands, we will be the #2 seed in the tournament facing off against the #7 seed Fort Ripley Rebels! The game will be on Sunday, August 2nd at 10:30am in Upsala! Time to go on another deep run!

🚨 PACK THE PICKLE NIGHT! 🚨

Tonight, your Nisswa Lightning will take on the Buckman Billygoats in the regular season finale! The winner of tonight’s game will claim the #1 seed going into the district tournament!

With a first pitch scheduled for 7:30pm, tonight will surely be a game you won’t want to miss! Two of the top teams in the state, and the two top teams in the Victory League battling it out! Bring everyone you know… it’s time to PACK THE PICKLE!

🚨 LIGHTNING TAKE DOWN THE SKI’S🚨

With a final score of 7-3, your Nisswa Lightning are now TIED for 1st place in the Victory League! Next week on Friday night, we will take on the Buckman Billygoats in the final regular season game to determine who will be the 1 seed going into regions!

Today’s Orange Powerade Player of the Game is #13 Sam Peterson! He had himself a day going 3-4 with a homerun and a double!

🚨ANOTHER GAMEDAY!🚨

This afternoon we will hit the road to take on the Sobieski Ski’s! It will be a battle between the current #2 team in the Victory League (Nisswa) and the #3 team (Sobieski) with HUGE playoff possibilities on the line!

Today’s Spotlight Player of the Game is #33 Colbe Tappe! Big game today with a first pitch scheduled for 1:30pm!

🚨 Lightning down the Steve’s 7-2!🚨

With a late 8th inning rally, the Lightning pull out another win against St. Stephen! Today’s Grain Belt Player of the Game belongs to Ben Dornseif! Ben came in relief in a tie ball game, and shut down the Steve’s for the last two innings to get the win on the mound!

We will be back in action on the road tomorrow against the Sobieski Ski’s at 1:30pm!
