Been a while so I thought I’d update.
I’ve had some snowmobiles dropped off for repairs over the summer. I’m getting back into it now with reproduction fiberglass hoods and belly pans after having to take time away over the summer.
I made the decision not to have shop class this year for varying reasons. Mostly funding. I went to Princeton MN last year and sales were slow and for the first time ever, Pequot was slow for sales also. Usually Pequot alone can pay for a school year.
What I do next year is still up in the air. In the meantime I still plan to have the sweat shop trailer at the Pequot Lakes show in January. May do Gilman MN in October also, depending on the weather. I’d be storing up funding for next year.
In the meantime I’m doing boat winterizing, snowmobile repair (CCW, Cuyuna/Rockwell powered sleds but can do others as well if parts are available), and fiberglass manufacturing (Scorpion hoods and bellypans) and also making some pieces sold by Arctic Restoration Specialties (Arctic Cat).
