Let’s come together and cheer for our boys. Kickoff at 7 PM.

IMAGINE FOR A SECOND...that you're a 20 year old football player.
Three weeks ago you're considered one of the best in the country and 110,000 people come out to cheer you on, all dressed in white, and singing your praises. Millions more supporting you at home. You end up losing that game in overtime and all of a sudden there's a chance your dream could slip away.
A week later, still distressed from the loss, you fly 3000 miles across the country and underperform and lose by one score. You get back on the plane and return home to find those cheers from a week earlier are now silence...or worse. The dream slipping away seems more real and even though you have no margin for error the rest of the year, there's still a chance.
Then last week, every single day you hear on social media, television, radio, etc that you were never worth the hype to begin with. You and your teammates are publicly criticized and everything you've worked for since you were a child is in doubt. You then go out and lose by 1 point and you find yourself surrounded by anger not only inside the stadium, but outside too. Oh, and your dream has officially slipped away.
The next day your coach, the man who came to your home to meet your family and recruit you, who you've spent more time recently with than your own family, and who has a family of his own, is fired. Out of the building...out of your life...gone. You question yourself. You question your decisions. And you feel incredible guilt.
That's Penn State football...and the life of these 20 year olds...in just the last 21 days.
FORTUNATELY...there are fans that will cheer and support NO MATTER WHAT, and them. We will gather tonight at 7pm at The Broken Inn (the OFFICIAL Penn State watch party spot for the Capital Region), we will dress in blue and white, and we will cheer for our boys as they face off on the road against Iowa. Fans, family, alumni and friends are all welcome!
That's what real fans do. And that's what our team needs. Not cheers when we're up, but cheers when we're down.

THE WAGER! Thursday night’s Notre Dame vs Penn State game is HUGE with the winner moving on to play for the National Championship. And to sweeten the pot, the owners of Katie O'Byrne's, Schenectady’s home for Notre Dame football, and The Broken Inn in Niskayuna, the official Penn State bar for the entire Capital District, got together and decided to place a friendly wager. And we want YOU to join us Schenectady and Niskayuna!
Here’s the deal. Please go to GoFundMe.com/TheWager and put a few bucks into the pot (and comment which team you’re cheering for).
If Notre Dame wins, all of the money raised will be donated to the Schenectady PBA.
If Penn State wins, all of the money raised will be donated to Niskayuna PBA.
No matter which team wins, those who protect and serve us will come out ahead, and we’ll have a little fun in the process.
And of course on Thursday come on out to Katies (ND fans & Schenectady PD supporters) or to the BI (PSU fans & Niskayuna PD supporters) and let's cheer for our teams with our local brave men and women.

PENN STATE vs OHIO STATE! This Saturday's game is going to be a zoo. It's undefeated #3 Penn State against #4 Ohio State. It'll be 150,000 people converging on a town with a population of just 40,000. It'll have ESPN's College Gameday broadcasting live AND FOX's Big Noon Kickoff broadcasting live at the same game (first time they've ever done that). Oh, and now there will be a presidential candidate in attendance just 3 days before the election. So needless to say...we'll be watching from The Broken Inn in Niskayuna (OFFICIAL Penn State watch party spot for the Capital Region). Make plans to join us and cheer loudly for our Penn State Nittany Lions. Ohio State fans are welcome to watch from there as well of course, it might just take them a little longer to get their drinks. More to come from on this one throughout the week.

FINALLY!!! We have been waiting patiently for Penn State's 2024 College Football season to begin and it all starts TOMORROW at Noon! Our Nittany Lions travel to Morgantown to take on West Virginia at 12:00pm noon and The OFFICIAL Penn State football watch party spot for the Capital Region (thanks PSU alumni chapter)! ALL ARE WELCOME to come on out and enjoy the game along with the rest of the Blue & White faithful and take home some freebies courtesy of Penn State. PENN STATE v MICHIGAN! This is the one we’ve had circled all year and our entire season is on the line. It’s Penn State vs Michigan - tomorrow at Noon. Win, and we’ve got a real chance still of winning it all (see the image for the breakdown). Lose, and we don’t. Penn State is the underdog, but we’re feeling strangely positive. Hmmmmm.
