Gloege's Northern Sun Canoe Outfitting is the premier canoe outfitter on the Crow Wing River. We've been in business for more than 40 years and outfit groups big and small with canoes, kayaks, and camping equipment. We utilize the Crow Wing River Canoe Trail, a 5-day-canoe route that includes 11 primitive campgrounds. The Crow Wing River is a Class 1, sandbottom river and is one of the best wilderness and scenic rivers in Minnesota.

The mighty crew - captained by Lee - is almost done with the bunkhouse exterior! Thanks to all our wonderful customers for sharing part of your summer with Gloege's outfitting. We'll be open one or two more weekends for fall enthusiasts, and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!

ICE IS OUT! After a spectacularly long Minnesota winter, the ice is out, the snow is nearly gone and all signs point to a great year for paddlers. We look forward to helping you with your 2023 canoe trip this summer.
