Hi my names Mike, and I am the mayor of.... wait nope.

I wanted to give an update on "The Wall" before we get a million questions of "Are you going to fix the wall".

So, if you didn't know, we had a van crash through our left field wall. Crazy right? Has it happened before? Yes actually it has. Are there any roads that point AT your stadium you ask?
No there are not.

UPDATE FROM THE CITY:
1. Our Insurance company will be seeking damages from the driver and or the drivers insurance company if one exists.
2. The repairs are just under 10k and the lead time is 6-8 weeks. The repairs will go to City Council for action at the next meeting which unfortunately isn’t until Sept 14th.

That is the update we have at this time.

ON A SIDE NOTE: Restrooms should be up and functional prior to opening day.

What an impressive talent pool we had at evals last night for our Gold League. Rosters are all set and the schedule will be released later this week. These weekend games will be something to come see!

Hello Fall Ball Gold League Parents,
We are closely monitoring today's weather for evals and draft tonight. If we are unable to go tonight the makeup for Fall Ball Gold League will be Sunday evening at 7pm.

Fingers crossed.

Multiple regions could be seeing significant severe weather tomorrow...

An advancing cold front pushing into the western Great Lakes will trigger scattered strong to severe thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon. A favorable combination of moisture and wind shear will support a few supercells capable of producing large hail, damaging wind gusts, and a couple of tornadoes. Meanwhile, storms initiating across eastern Colorado and the High Plains will also bring a risk for large hail and severe wind gusts through the evening hours.
