Ms. Rio takes the intimidation out of ballet while maintaining the quality of technique, using her

career long experience teaching the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum to students in New York City and Chicago. Rio offers classes for Ages 3 - Adult, all taught using the ABT® National Training Curriculum:
• Pre-Ballet, Primary Ballet, Levels 1-2, & Adult Beginner Ballet
• Creative movement classes for toddlers & preschool aged children
• Beginner & Intermediate ballet for elementary school through adults
​• Private Lessons for all of the above, including advanced & pre-professional dancers

Hair Bows for the Holidays! 🎀 At Ballet with Ms. Rio we are excited to collab with our friends American Youth Dance Theater! Made by Lydia, a Level 2&3 student of Ms. Rio’s in Chicago, these hair bows are $4/piece with all proceeds going to The Lucy Walsh Fund, a community service program offered at American Youth Dance Theater in NYC, offering free or low-cost dance classes to children in need. Hair bows will be available via pick up at any of the Ballet with Ms. Rio school/studio locations in Chicago. Payments may be made in cash or Zelle / Venmo / PayPal to [email protected].
