❄️ Important Update: Frigid 5K ❄️

We have some news to share about our beloved Frigid 5K event. Due to staff limitations, we've made the difficult decision to cancel the Frigid 5K for 2026. 💙

We know this event has been a highlight for so many of you, and we're disappointed we won't be able to host it this year. Your enthusiasm, participation, and support have meant the world to us! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The good news? We are hopeful that the Frigid 5K will resume in 2027! ❄️✨

In the meantime, we have other exciting ways you can support LifePlan and get involved:

💕 Volunteer opportunities

Dear Frigid 5K Runners,

We regret to inform you that LifePlan has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2026 Frigid 5K event due to insufficient staffing.

We sincerely apologize for the late notice. We held out hope as long as possible that we would be able to secure the necessary volunteers and staff to host the event with the quality and care our faithful runners deserve. Unfortunately, we've reached the point where we must acknowledge this is not feasible for 2026.

We deeply appreciate your continued support of LifePlan's mission to spread the gospel by helping people choose life and live hope-filled lives. Your participation in past Frigid 5K events has been instrumental in advancing this work, and we're grateful for your investment in our community.

We hope to bring the Frigid 5K back in 2027 when our staffing capacity allows us to host the event properly. In the meantime, we invite you to consider participating in our other events, including the Hero Run this spring and our Sanctity of Human Life prayer gathering at Redeemer Church on January 25.

Our Frigid 5K Run & Walk is THIS Saturday! 🎉🎉 If you registered for the Frigid 5K, you can pick up your runner's packet TODAY, Friday January 17 from 9 AM – 1 PM. If you are unable to pick up your runner's packet today, you can pick it up tomorrow beginning at 7:30 AM at The Rage in downtown Niles.

If you're interested in REGISTERING for the Frigid 5K, happening this Saturday, January 18, you can register tomorrow morning beginning at 7:30 AM.

Don't fret if you missed our online registration for the Frigid 5K. You can register IN PERSON 🎉 on the day of the race, January 18th. In-person registration will be held at The Rage in downtown Niles from 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM for $40. A Frigid 5K t-shirt can also be purchased that morning for an additional $10, while supplies last. 😁
