My old ITF recognition plaque #5357 issued 1994. It's starting to show some age. The official documents from the ITF/General Choi Hong Hi. There is so much symbolism in the plaque that I will share it in another history lesson about the old days.

IOTF Taekwon-Do is developing a new curriculum for people with disabilities. As we all age and our abilities change to where we are unable to do some of the things we did 50 plus years ago, so we must Adapt to our new limitations. This has been a struggle for many Taekwon-Do practioners that I know and it is very difficult to keep up with expectations of performing techniques as they were originally designed. The IOTF TAEKWON-DO and its members will take this matter very seriously so that all that wish to continue their Taekwon-Do training can do so without fear of being rejected for the inability to execute certain moves or techniques. Also, with the increasing of serious violent assaults against people with disabilities (46%) of Americans are at a greater risk of being a victim. The IOTF Taekwon-Do will support all groups that have the same vision as ours, that is, to provide quality Self-defense to people with disabilities regardless of their ability to pay for classes. We will do this by providing workshops throughout the USA at hosting schools and develop affiliates who desire to become a part of this great endeavor. Thank you for your support and consideration. The IOTF Taekwon-Do is partnering with dozens of practioners Nation wide to enable the Disabled through our sister organization the Disabled Martial Artists of America, Inc. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching Martial arts to those who are generally turned down from other Martial arts schools. We do this through workshops hosted by affiliate schools and instructors. If you would like to join our ranks, please contact me here or through messanger. We are growing by leaps and bounds.

People with disabilities are at a 46% higher risk of being involved in a violent assault. We need all of your skills and experience to help benefit the Disabled . It's our way of giving it back to the future. Keep in mind that everyone of us has now or may be Disabled in the future. Who knows? Please get involved. Thank you in advance
