While I love what I do and take pride each week in teaching your children how to swim, I needed to stop for a moment and recognize my own kids.
All 3 of my children started lessons with me as babies, just like most of yours. They did the same skills, played in the pool and learned to love the water. ❤️
Fast forward almost 2 decades later…my kids have found their passion and love for the sport that their mom started them in.
I couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments and cannot wait to watch them grow into even better swimmers while having fun in a sport that I grew up doing and teaching for a living!
Joshua just had his final Swim meet of his high school career. He won the 100 yard breaststroke at the Niagara Frontier League Championship meet 2 weeks ago going a season best time! Two weeks later, he moved from 16th to 9th place at Sectionals where he went a lifetime best time in the same event dropping down to a 1:04.36!
Jacob just finished his first year of college swimming as a Purple Eagle at NU.
As a freshman, he not only went lifetime best times in all 3 of his individual events, he placed 2nd in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 54.79 breaking the school record by over a second. He went on to place first in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in the 200 breaststroke with a lifetimes best time of 1:59.66 breaking the school record by 5 seconds! He also broke the ECC pool record on that same event. He was also a part of the championship 400 medley relay team.
One happy and proud mom ❤️❤️❤️
Congrats Jake & Josh!🐠💪🏼
