🥾 of the Week! 🌲
It's starting to look like fall! Park visitors enjoyed a Fall Stroll in the Park at Reservoir State Park, seeing the changing colors of the season. Meanwhile at Knox Farm State Park, visitors went on a bird walk in hopes of seeing birds for fall migration.

On October 24, 1901, Annie Edson Taylor, celebrating her 63rd birthday, became the first person to survive a trip over Niagara Falls in a barrel, emerging relatively unscathed except for a gash on her head, after a journey that lasted less than 20 minutes but left her waiting for assistance for some time. After her journey she said the following:

"If it was with my dying breath, I would caution anyone
against attempting the feat ... I would sooner walk up to
the mouth of a cannon, knowing it was going to blow
me to pieces than make another trip over the Fall."

🥾 of the Week! 🌲
Park visitors enjoyed Extinction Extravaganza at the Evangola Nature Center, discovering the natural history of New York while other visitors at Artpark State Park observed fossils during Fossil Frolic. Meanwhile crafty visitors created homemade soap for Monster Mash Soap Making at the Evangola Nature Center.

💍To celebrate National I Love You Day, Chunky and Sallie tied the knot and honeymooned at Niagara Falls State Park, following in the footsteps of many couples before them.

Park visitors enjoyed a Hike Through History at Niagara Falls State Park, where they were fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of a rainbow on Luna Island. Meanwhile, the Evangola education staff took in the breathtaking views from the newly constructed Cataract Stairs.
