Behind every single S3DA State Chapter is a leader who serves, supports, and pours their time into growing youth archery. ❤️🏹

As we close out the 2025-2026 competition season, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank our incredible S3DA State Coordinators.

Our State Coordinators are the connection between the national organization and the grassroots communities that make S3DA possible. They work alongside amazing Regional Coordinators, coaches, teams, families, and countless volunteers who share the same passion for introducing youth to the sport of archery.

They educate youth and adults about what S3DA is, how to get involved, and the impact archery can have on young people. They organize events, answer questions, solve problems, support our teams and coaches, and handle countless details - both behind the scenes and right in the middle of it all.

A lot of the work they do may never make it onto social media BUT it matters. Every new team, every new archer, every event, and every opportunity to introduce a young person to archery starts with people willing to step up and serve.

You are what makes S3DA what it is today, and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for choosing to lead, serve, and help grow the next generation of archers. 🩵

📣 Help Shape the Future of Youth Archery in Alabama! 🏹

Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) is seeking a dedicated volunteer to serve as the Alabama S3DA State Coordinator and help grow opportunities for youth archers, families, and coaches across the state.

This volunteer leadership role provides an opportunity to help expand the S3DA program by working with coaches, supporting new and existing teams, promoting youth archery opportunities, and connecting more families with a program that develops confidence, character, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors.

Through your leadership, you will help create opportunities for young archers to learn, compete, build friendships, and become responsible stewards of our outdoor heritage.

If you have a passion for archery, youth development, and making a positive impact within your community, we invite you to lead Alabama S3DA.

📣 REMINDER: Step Into Leadership With Alabama S3DA! 🏹

At the end of this competition season, our current S3DA State Coordinator will be stepping down. While this marks the end of one chapter, it also opens the door for a new leader to step forward and continue building opportunities for athletes, coaches, and families.

We are currently looking for someone passionate about youth archery and the S3DA mission to serve as the next State Coordinator for Alabama.

There is also a unique transition opportunity for the next State Coordinator. In addition to onboarding and support from the National Office, the current coordinator has offered optional mentorship and assistance to help create a smooth transition and continued success for S3DA within the state.

If you care about the future of youth archery and want to make a lasting impact, we encourage you to apply or reach out for more information.
