Newville Little League Families and Community Members,

Newville Little League will hold its Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 10 at 6:30 PM in the Big Spring My Rock Elementary School Commons Area.

This meeting represents a new effort by Newville Little League to bring greater awareness, openness, and transparency to the business and operations of our league. We want our families and community to better understand how the league operates, how decisions are made, and the direction of the organization.

During the Annual Meeting, we will:

Elect the Board of Directors for the 2027 season

Ratify new league bylaws

Recognize our teams and accomplishments from the past season

Provide updates on the league and plans for the upcoming year

Answer questions from our families and community about Newville Little League

Please review the attached proposed bylaws prior to the meeting. We will not be reading the bylaws verbatim during the Annual Meeting. Instead, we ask that families review them in advance and come prepared with any questions, comments, or concerns they would like to discuss before the vote.

2027 Board of Directors Election

Members in good standing, as determined by the Election Committee, will vote to elect nine individuals to serve on the Newville Little League Board of Directors for 2027.

The following individuals are confirmed candidates for the 2027 Board of Directors, listed alphabetically by last name:

Additional nominations may be accepted from the floor during the Annual Meeting.

Each candidate will be provided up to two minutes before voting to introduce themselves and share their qualifications and vision for serving on the Board.

Following the election of the nine-member Board, those nine Directors will then elect the league’s officers from among the newly elected Board. Officer positions will include:

President • Vice President • Player Agent • Safety & Security Officer • Coaching Coordinator • Secretary • Treasurer • Education Officer • Equipment Manager

Holding an annual meeting is also an important responsibility of operating as a chartered Little League program and is something Little League International expects local leagues to conduct.

We encourage all Newville Little League families and interested community members to attend. This is an opportunity to learn more about your league, ask questions, have your voice heard, and help shape the future of Newville Little League.
