We are a youth wresting organization for wrestlers in grades K-8. We are based out of Newtown, CT.

A huge thank you to all who came out to support NYWA’s annual car wash fundraiser!!! Thanks to a great group of hard working wrestlers and parents we were able to raise some much needed money to support our ‘26/‘27 season!!!! Enjoy those clean cars and we will see you on the mat!!!!

What a great night last night as we celebrated another phenomenal season recognizing our award winners, 8th graders, and coaches. Thank you to everyone involved. We could not be who were are without each of you.

After a just missing out last year we have reclaimed our town team title making it our 4th in 5 years. Shout to our 4 New England Champions and the rest of our placers that got us back on top!

New England Runner-up: Matt Iacuone, Camron Veneziano

Our last (official!) weekend of winter wrestling is over and we are thrilled to say we had 22 place finishers at the CT State Championships (60% of our wrestlers who competed today!). The below placers were in the top 6 of their respective age/weight classes, which includes the best wrestlers across the state. A big congratulations to all those who placed below. Looking forward to what everyone will accomplish at the New England Championships!

Shout out to Camron Veneziano coming up just 1 takedown short in the finals at “The Toughest Tournament in the World”, Tulsa Nationals. We could not be more proud to be part of his journey. This kid is just getting started, the best is yet to come. Keep pushing your limits Cam!
