Long before I became a Coach, I became a mother…while I had dreams of being “mama” even as a little kid, no one could have prepared me for the depths of love it would bring. Nor the strength it would give me with each passing day…
The work I do, helping professional design new perspectives within their current lives…has the ability to literally alter your life in a sustainable and successful way…forever. Yes, forever. Because once you have learned the skill of altering your own perspective, you then have the ability to get unstuck at any given moment. For me, as I guide others, I am also quietly guiding my own thoughts and perspectives as well.
I have chosen paths not meant for me, people, not aligned with my energy and spaces that didn’t fit…but with new perspectives and the powerful love of being mama to these amazing boys of mine…I have been able to constantly redirect, self correct and move to a place, and space that feels most like home.
I’m welcoming the big 6-0 with so much excitement…my heart has never beat this quiet and steady before. Just consistent enough for me to know which way is forward before I even take that step.
I am grateful for every client I have ever met and look forward to all that haven’t met me yet…

It’s been a minute…but I’m still here, better than ever.

This book. Have you read it? I highly recommend it. It’s about perspectives and the ability to shift your current way of thinking. I don’t just write about it, I talk about it daily with my clients and breathe it into my own soul…whenever needed. And lately, I have needed it a lot.

There hasn’t just been some bumpy paths lately, it’s been a colliding of the person I have been and the person I am becoming. Oddly, the one I am becoming, is the most aligned with who I used to be. The carefree one, the one who did not experience anxiety on a daily basis, the one who understood everything was temporary, the good and the bad and the one who enjoyed every minute of life. Most importantly, the one who was clear about boundaries and what should and should not be tolerated.

That’s where it gets tricky. As life often does. You’re going along just fine. Better than fine. Managing all the grand next steps of life and then one day, you check the rear view mirror and are shocked about where you have been…mind, body and spirit. But such is life.

We can’t change what has occurred in the past. We can only soul search to find what good came of it. And then, commit to doing it better moving forward. Making sure that what’s inside is always aligned with what’s outside. Being true to yourself based on what you need, rather than first looking to see what others need…

The last decade of my life has been filled with some real trauma. Some out of my control and some completely avoidable…if only.

But being able to shift means starting from exactly where your feet are planted in this minute…and going forward. Flipping the story on its side to create needed change.

That’s where I am right now…my mind, body and spirit growing more content and quiet every day.

Thank goodness for all I’ve learned. Thank goodness for the family and friends I have who love me unconditionally and so deeply. And thank goodness for what’s next!

Just a few more weeks before I dive head first into my sixties and I cannot wait!

There’s always a reason to celebrate life…what will you celebrate?
